Description: UGIPLES is the austeno-ferritic grades (Duplex) offer a perfect compromise between corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. This "economical" duplex is designed for the process and construction industries (notably concrete reinforcements). It is an excellent alternative to the 1.4401/1.4404 (316L), since its corrosion resistance is at least equivalent. It offers better mechanical properties. Its composition allows a much lower alloy surcharge than that of the 316LInformation provided by Schmolz + Bickenbach
