Translucent Silicone Rubber, 70-75 °IRHD. Platinum cured Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Silicone compound in conformity with the requirements of USP 25, NF20, 2002, Class 6. Formulated using only those ingredients authorized by FDA CFR21 Section 177.2600. BGV XV compliant. Formulated to BS2494 Type ‘W’ and Water Research Council (WRC) tested in accordance with BS6920 ‘Items which have passed full tests of effects on water quality’ (for use in potable water applications). WRC approval No. 0005509.Applications: Compared to equivalent silicones, excellent mechanical and physical properties, and chemical stability over the temperature range of -60ºC to +200ºC. Excellent behaviour when sterilised. High transparency grade, intended for food contact, pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
