Material Notes:

Red Silicone Rubber, 66-75 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ.Applications: Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals. Low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.
