Material Notes:
Ethylene content 29 mol%. Volatile matter 0.3%.The gas barrier property of Soarnol is about forty times better than that of nylon, therefore, Soarnol allows design of lower cost packages by using a thin gas barrier layer without loss of shelf life.Soarnol D2908 with intermediate melt flow index is one of the standard grade of Soarnol, its ethylene content is 29 mol%. Since Soarnol D2908 has a good gas barrier at low humidity, this resin is suited for coextruded film and coextrusion coating. This resin can also be used in coextruded sheet, coextruded blow-molded containers and coextruded pipe.Processing: Extruder:40 m screw type, L/D=28;Screw:Full-flighted, constant pitch type, CR=4.0;Screen pack:80/120/50 mesh;Die:Manifold type, die width=450 mm, lip distance=0.2 mm.Information provided by Soarus, LLC.
