Material Notes:
This grade is a special molding grade consisting of spherical polystyrene beads containing pentane as expansion agent, typically used for dry molding of drinking cups and thin wall containers.Applications: This grade is used for dry molding of drinking cups and containers, with wall thickness generally 1.2-5.0 mm.This grade complies with major European and US food contact regulatory regimes, including: European Community Directive 90/128/ECC, including 92/39EEC and 95/EC, relating to plastics materials and articles, intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Dutch Food Packaging Regulations. Recommendations of German Federal Office of Health (BGA), now regulated by the new Institute of Consumer Health (BGVV), Empfehlung V.
