Mallard Creek Polymers ROVENE® 4402 SBR Latex

ROVENE® 4402 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion which does not contain nor evolve formaldehyde during cure. ROVENE® 4402 has a medium soft hand with outstanding strength properties. This binder is able to accept high filler loads of calcium carbonate, clays, and alumina trihydrate and still retain excellent tensile strength. Sodium polyacrylate thickeners are commonly used to obtain the required application viscosity. It also has good aging properties, wet tensile strength, salt tolerance, and adhesion to a wide variety of fibers.APPLICATIONS: ROVENE® 4402 is recommended for applications in carpet and needle-punch backcoating requiring wet tensile strength, soft hand, and formaldehyde free.Information provided by Mallard Creek Polymers
