Material Notes:
GUARD DOG™ UV234 UV absorber is a low volatile benzotriazole based UV absorber which is highly effective in polymers that are processed at high temperature (decomposition temperature > 350°C).Applications: Extremely effective in PP, SBS, footwear, SEBS, acetal, acrylic, PET, PMMA, PBT, PC and is recommended for thin section and fiber applications suitable for food contact applications.Performance Benefits:Strong absorption of UV radiation in the 300 - 400 nm range. The absorption maxima are 302 nm and 343 nmLow initial color and low volatility during high processing temperatures and has good extraction resistanceTypical Properties:Free flowing pale yellow powderSolubility (g/100g @ 25°C): Acetone - 2, Benzene - 10, CHCl3 - 35, MeCl - 34, MEK - 13, Toluene 20
