Material Notes:
Purell PE 3020 D is a low density polyethylene with high rigidity, good opticals and good chemical resistance. It is delivered in pellet form. Target markets are small blow molding including packaging of pharmaceuticals and injection molding for medical devices, closures and seals. Regulatory Status: Purell PE 3020 D meets the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration, Code of Federal Regulations, 21CFR Section 177.1520. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in "articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food." Contact your Equistar sales representative for more information regarding the suitability of specific products for specific applications. Specific recommendations for processing Purell PE 3020 D can only be made when the processing conditions, equipment and end use are known. For further suggestions, please contact your Equistar sales representative.This product is from the former Equistar product line.
