Weatherable and decorative sheetApplications: Housings for equipment, recreation vehicles and truck parts, safety equipment, building products, signage, wall panels, facia, doors, service counters, exhibits.Features: Kydex 510 offers the properties of "Kydex" in a weatherable formulation. It is highly impact resistant as measure by the notched Izod impact test. Kydex 510 is fire retardant with a UL 94 V-0 rating as measured by independent test labs. Specifiers have selected Kydex sheet for surfacing and lamination applications because of its unique characteristics such as: low moisture absorption, resistance to chipping and cracking, excellent fabrication and matching properties, and flexibility.Fabrication: Excellent forming properties result in uniform wall thicknesses and crisp detail, plus easy machining and fabricating using conventional methods, further expanding finished part possibilities.Data provided by the Kleerdex Company.Kleerdex Company became KYDEX, LLC in 2009.
