Material Notes:

SARAN® 416 barrier polymer, a copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride, is designed for extrusion and coextrusion into barrier films used in both food and medical packaging applications. It is supplied as a white, partially formulated free flowing powder (particle size 195-300 microns). It offers excellent oxygen and moisture barrier and complies with requirements of FDA for use as a component of articles in contact with food.Data provided by Dow Chemical.
