Dielectric Conformal Coatings for ElectronicsCytec dielectric conformal coatings are the most widely used conformal coatings in industry today for such divergent applications as aircraft avionics, instrumentation (industrial and military), missiles, spacecraft, fire and smoke detectors as well as coatings for electronic components, coils and transformers. And no small reason why -- all of the coatings described have been specifically formulated as dielectric insulating coatings to provide the user the ultimate protection available for his electronic assemblies; be it environmental (dirt, dust, humidity, fungus, temperature extremes, etc) or electrical insulation of conductors.
