Material Notes:
Available in white powder, often called "fine powder," this fluoropolymer resin is capable of being sheared by lubricated paste extrusion (facilitated by a hydrocarbon liquid) into a coherent fibrous matrix with useful structural integrity. Teflon® PTFE fine powders provide a practical method for producing long lengths of product from a resin that cannot be melt extruded. Resin Characteristics: Low reduction ratio with good clarity. Uses: Pigmented electrical tape. Typical properties for Teflon® PTFE Fine Powder:Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including DuPont Fluoroproducts, in 2015.
