Material Notes:
CeramTec AG's seal and regulator discs are made mainly of Rubalit® A 1896, a material developed especially for this application that is noted for the following special properties: outstanding hardness - A diamond-grade surface hardness effectively prevents wear. Solid foreign particles are crushed and flushed out; chemical inertia - The material does not react with water. Given its resistance to acid and caustic attack, Rubalit® A 1896 is suitable not only for sanitary fittings but also for industrial use; and no aging - The material's all-mineral structure remains unchanged over extended periods of use.
