STYRON® 425 impact polystyrene resin is typically used in thin section parts, hot drink cups and cassettes. It offers heat resistance, easy flow, fast cycling, and excellent tensile and flex properties. When used unmodified for the manufacture of food contact articles STYRON 425 complies with the US Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and Food Additive Regulations 21 CFR 177.1640. Styron was a Dow trade name before the JV formation.
