General DescriptionHolmium (Ho) Nanoparticles, nanodots or nanopowder are black spherical high surface area particles. Nanoscale Dysprosium Particles are typically 30 - 80 nanometers (nm) with specific surface area (SSA) in the 30 – 60 m 2 /g range. Nano Holmium Particles are also available in passivated and Ultra high purity and high purity and coated and dispersed forms. Research into applications for Holmium nanocrystals has focused on use as a dopant in glass and optical fibers, in phosphors, nanophosphors and doped phosphorous nanoparticles and for their potential electrical, dielectric, magnetic, optical, imaging, catalytic, biomedical and bioscience properties. A new perovskite structure of Barium Holmium Zirconate (BHZ) has been synthesized. And it is studied for use in coatings, plastics, nanowire, nanofiber and textiles and in alloy and catalyst applications. Holmium Nano Particles are generally immediately available in most volumes.
