General DescriptionBismuth Oxide ( BiO) Nanopowder or Nanoparticles, nanodots or nanocrystals are ferric and ferrous spherical or faceted high surface area oxide magnetic nanostructure particles. Nanoscale Bismuth Oxide Particles are typically 20-80 nanometers (nm) with specific surface area (SSA) in the 10 – 50 m 2 /g range and also available in with an average particle size of 100 nm range with a specific surface area of approximately 7- 10 m 2 /g. Nano Bismuth Oxide Particles are also available in ultra high purity and high purity, transparent, and coated and dispersed forms. Applications for Bismuth Oxide Nanocrystals include various electrochemical uses, such as in the electrolyte or cathode of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), in bio-medical and cancer imaging and for other photoconductive characteristics in thin films.
