Fields of application: Extruded and thermoformed articles made from PP resin.Examples: Extruded sheets and thermoformed articles such as films, tapes, cups, food packaging and closures.Mode of action and advantages: ADD-VANCE® NU 795 contains a very effective nucleating agent that outperforms traditional nucleation agents like talc and benzoate salts. Nucleating agents increase the rate of crystallization and the number of spherulites in the polymer as well as creates smaller and better distributed spherulites. A faster crystallization rate allows for higher productivity in molding and extrusion processes.
