Addcomp ADD-VANCE® FR 583 LLDPE based flame-retardant and anti-UV combi-masterbatch

Fields of application: Foils, films, fibres, tapes and extruded articles made from PE and PP with a high surface/volume ratio.Examples: Foils, films, tapes, ropes, and filaments / fibers for carpets, non-wovens, furniture.Mode of action and advantages: ADD-VANCE FR 583 provides excellent flame-retardancy and UV stability to thick PE products and articles with a high surface area like films, fibers and tapes. The HALS stabilizer present in ADD-VANCE FR 583 inhibits the light induced degradation of the substrate. The HALS stabilizer acts as radical scavenger, hydroperoxide decomposer and quencher.Advantages: Highly effective flame-retardant and UV light stabilization system for PE (with anti-odor stabilization); Antimony-free system: no blocking of spinnerets or fouling of dies and spinning pumps when extrusion temperatures do not exceed 220 - 230 °C; Melt-blendable flame-retardant, allowing extrusion of thin films and spinning of fibers with fine deniers; Reliable anti-UV protection resulting in a longer service life of the final product; and Safe and easy handling, dust free, inherent low toxicity and no environmental impact.Information provided by ADDCOMP
