Fields of application: Injection moulded, or moulded articles (> 1,5 mm thickness) produced via Direct LFT processesExamples: Moulding parts such a under body panels, door modules, industrial parts, appliances, etc. Mode of action and advantages: ADD-VANCE FR 495 provides excellent flame retardancy to thick PP products. The flame retardant is active in the solid phase of the polymeric system. It forms a stable char, which inhibits the fire propagation. ADD-VANCE FR 495 does not contain any brominated products ADD-VANCE FR 495 contains an extra stabilization package for special long service life requirements.Advantages: Highly effective flame retardant compound for PP products (UL 94 V0 , 2.0 mm); Antimony-free system, bromine-free system; Excellent Long Term Heat Ageing (LTHA) performance to achieve VW and D-C requirements; ADD-VANCE FR 495 will provide good mechanical properties after heat-aging @ 140 deg.
